The toolbar provides the ability to quickly access various menu items with a single click. Sometimes certain buttons will be disabled due to the program state.<\/p>\n

The toolbar can be hidden or shown by right clicking on the menu bar and toggling the item labeled Toolbar<\/code>.<\/p>\n

Most toolbar items are just shortcuts to menu items, and are not listed here.<\/p>\n

The following have no corresponding menu entry and therefore warrant documenting here.<\/p>\n

Stop renderer<\/h3>
\n

Stop the rendering process. This means that changes to the UI will not restart the render as usual. This is helpful when many known modifications need to be made in rapid succession, and you are not concerned with the intermediate results. Such is most common when following a tutorial.<\/p>\n

This button is a toggle switch, so after stopping the render, the icon will change to a play sign. Click it again to begin rendering.<\/p>\n

When starting the render again, it will start\u00a0from the beginning of the process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Show variations filter window<\/h3>
\n

Show the variations filter dialog. This will not stop or reset the rendering process the way that the Options<\/a> and Final Render<\/a> dialogs\u00a0do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

CPU<\/h3>
\n

Equivalent of unchecking Use OpenCL<\/code>\u00a0in the Options dialog<\/a> and clicking OK<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

CL<\/h3>
\n

Equivalent of checking Use OpenCL<\/code>\u00a0in the Options dialog<\/a> and clicking OK<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

SP<\/h3>
\n

Equivalent of unchecking Use Double Precision<\/code> in the Options dialog<\/a> and clicking OK<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

DP<\/h3>
\n

Equivalent of checking Use Double Precision<\/code> in the Options dialog<\/a> and clicking OK<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Compat<\/h3>
\n

Equivalent of checking Flam3 Compatibility<\/code> in the Options dialog<\/a> and clicking OK<\/code>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Style<\/h3>
\n

Show the style sheet editor dialog for customizing the UI.\u00a0This will not stop the rendering process the way that the Options<\/a> and Final Render<\/a> dialogs\u00a0do.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Show\/Hide image<\/h3>
\n

Show or hide the image drawn on the editor. This useful when you are inspecting very detailed xform geometry and don’t want the final output image distracting you.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Pre<\/h3>
\n

Show or hide the pre affines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

All<\/h3>
\n

Show the current\/selected or all pre affines.<\/p>\n

If this is set to All, then the Show all xforms while dragging setting in the Options dialog will be observed, else it will be ignored.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Post<\/h3>
\n

Show or hide the post affines.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

All<\/h3>
\n

Show the current\/selected or all post affines.<\/p>\n

If this is set to All, then the Show all xforms while dragging setting in the Options dialog will be observed, else it will be ignored.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Show\/Hide xforms<\/h3>
\n

Show or hide the xforms drawn on the editor. This useful when there are many xforms which are cluttering up the editing area.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Show\/Hide grid<\/h3>
\n

Show or hide the grid. This useful when you are\u00a0want to align the xforms to specific increments in world space.<\/p>\n
