It serves as a way to easily tell what the major features of the flame are without having to manually inspect all of the UI elements across the program. After a quick glance here, you can get a good idea of the structure of the current flame.<\/p>\n<p>Note this does not list every field in the flame. Instead, it is a stripped down list of only the ones which are most important for quickly determining its structure.<\/p>\n<p>The first section is a table which lists the following fields of interest: Name, palette, xform count and whether 3D, xaos or\u00a0final xform are\u00a0used.<\/p>\n<p>The tree will have one root level element for each xform in the current flame. Their child nodes will list the most important attributes of each xform.<\/p>\n<p>There are two column headings that should be thought of as click buttons. Clicking on the left one will collapse all nodes, and clicking\u00a0on the right one will expand all nodes.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id69dfbfacdb013\"  tabindex=\"0\"     >Xform<\/h3><div id=\"target-id69dfbfacdb013\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<p>One root node for each xform. The left column lists various attributes serially.<\/p>\n<h4>Index<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Shown as &#8220;Xform x&#8221; where x is the 1-based index of the xform.<\/p>\n<h4>Weight<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Shown as &#8220;(x)&#8221; where x is the value entered in the weight field of the xform.<\/p>\n<h4>Normalized weight<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Shown as &#8220;(x)&#8221; after weight, where x is the normalized weight value.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Ex: 4 xforms each with a weight of 1, would have 0.25 for their normalized weights.<\/p>\n<h4>Link<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Shown as &#8220;Linked to x&#8221; where x is the 1-based index of the xform it&#8217;s linked to. If it&#8217;s not linked, nothing additional is shown.<\/p>\n<h4>Name<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Shown in the second column as &#8220;x&#8221; where x is the xform name. If it has no name, nothing additional is shown.<\/p>\n<p>Additional information about each xform is shown beneath each root\u00a0node.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id69dfbfacdb220\"  tabindex=\"0\"     >Affine<\/h3><div id=\"target-id69dfbfacdb220\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<p>This can have four\u00a0values which indicate the type of affine transforms used in the xform. In logical terms, the\u00a0list below can be though of as (1, 0), (0, 0), (0, 1), (1, 1).<\/p>\n<h4>Pre<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">A non-identity pre affine is used, and the post affine is the identity transform and is therefore not used. This is the most common case.<\/p>\n<h4>Pre ID<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Both transforms are the identity transform, which means pre has no effect and post\u00a0is unused.<\/p>\n<h4>Pre ID, Post<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">The pre affine is the identity transform which has no effect, and the post affine is a non-identity transform and is therefore used.<\/p>\n<h4>Pre, Post<\/h4>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Both affines are non identity and are therefore used with effect.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id69dfbfacdb303\"  tabindex=\"0\"     >Color index, Color speed, Opacity, Direct color<\/h3><div id=\"target-id69dfbfacdb303\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<p>These are just simple displays of their respective values.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h3 class=\"collapseomatic \" id=\"id69dfbfacdb3dd\"  tabindex=\"0\"     >Variations<\/h3><div id=\"target-id69dfbfacdb3dd\" class=\"collapseomatic_content \">\n<p>Each variation is listed as a child node with its name in the left column and its weight in the right column.<\/p>\n<p>Each child node below lists all of the variables used in the variation in the left column and their values in the right column.<\/p>\n<p>Note that you can drag the variations up or down to change the order in which they are applied. For most variations this will not matter, but for a select few, as well as pre and post variations, order does matter.<\/p>\n<p>Pre can only be dragged within pre, regular only within regular, and post only within post.
