Fractorium is a free editor and renderer for creating images and animations using the fractal flames algorithm. In addition to the standard rendering method on the CPU, it allows for using the GPU if supported hardware is present.

By using the GPU, Fractorium delivers fluid, real-time feedback to the user during editing. This provides a more efficient workflow, as the user does not have to continually pause after every edit to wait for a preview render to complete.

In addition to GPU support, Fractorium exposes various low level options to give the artist complete control over their work.
